Tales from the Kingdom: No Longer in the Kingdom!

Hello there!

Long time no see, for which I apologise wholeheartedly. I haven't blogged in nearly 2-3 months; basically life got in the way and I didn't feel a terrible amount of enthusiasm for blogging in that time. If you follow me on Twitter, you'll know that I've been trying to move back to Glasgow, my home city. I can now happily announce that I have moved back to Glasgow and into a lovely flat with my boyfriend Kristopher, who as a result of his new job in Glasgow starting sooner than mine, I have had to live apart from for the last 2 months.

I have a lot of new-found respect for people in long distance relationships as a result!

I'm really happy that life is finally settling back to normal, I start my new job on Monday and I'm looking forward to re-discovering the myriad joys my home city has to offer! Once I'm settled and my flat's all tidy and organised, would folk fancy a virtual tour?

Let me know what you think!

  2. Ooh, how exciting - I know how you must feel, as I'm moving back to my hometown later this month and truly cannot wait! It's been about seven and a half years since I lived there - first I moved away for uni, and then I moved to Brazil. But all my family and friends are still there, and the time away has really made me value what I had and used to take for granted!
As for the long distance thing, I had to do that for about six weeks or so with my husband - when we first moved to Brazil, he went before I did, and it was really tough! Worth it in the end though :)
Anyway, glad to see you're back to blogging, looking forward to some more posts :)
